Management of Diversity and Inclusion in Large International Collaborations

Large international collaborations face challenges in management and inclusion of diversity.
Each country has its own gender and diversity policies, culture and standards of communication. Often these policies and standards are different, might interact incoherently and can lead to a regression of practices towards minorities that are widely respected in their own countries.
The goal of this group is to explore practices to enhance the respect of minorities and different cultural backgrounds in large international collaborations. We will write a report about the current situation in the field. From our findings and the research in the field of management of large international collaborations, we will issue recommendations and foster debate within the IAU.
