What is 4D2U?
4D2U (Four-Dimensional Digital Universe) is a visualization project aimed at developing scientifically accurate movies based on astronomical data obtained from observations and numerical
simulations (http://4d2u.nao.ac.jp). At the dome theatre, participants wear stereoscopic (3D) glasses to watch celestial bodies and astronomical phenomena in four dimensions (3D space + time dimensions).
Both audio + visual sessions will be subtitled. Both hearing and hearing-impaired people can enjoy the screenings together.
