Show Your Communication Preference with the Color Communication Labels
As explained by the Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN), USA: The Color Communication Badge system was first developed in autistic spaces and conferences. They help people tell everyone who can see their badge about their communication preference.
At this symposium, the organizers have modified the badges into tactile labels. Please place one of them onto your name tag and show your communication preference.
Green Circle means that a person is actively seeking communication. They are ready to socialize.
Yellow Triangle means that a person only wants to talk to people they recognize and not by strangers or by new people they have not yet met.
Red Square means that a person probably does not want to talk to anyone, or only wants to talk to a few people.

With the colour communication labels, people can express their current communication preference quickly and nonverbally. Feel free to change your label at the Reception Desk when your preference changes.
