Abstract:
Language is not neutral. Our world is shaped by the words we use to describe it, but words also have a strong impact on readers. Recently, more and more people are advocating for a more respectful way of writing, asking us to take a look at the way we talk about us and about others. What are they looking for? Unconscious bias, stereotypes, and misrepresentation of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, cultural and religious belonging, among others.
There are several ways to be more inclusive when it comes to writing, and as I will show you in my talk, it can have a great impact on education, economics and even scientific research.

言語は中立ではありません。私達の世界は日頃使う言葉によって形造られていますが、言葉は読み手に大きな影響を与えます。近年、多くの人々がお互いをより尊敬しあえるライティングを提唱するとともに、自分自身や他の人々についてどう話すのかということに目を向けることを提唱しています。そのことにより、人々の中にある、アンコンシャスバイアス（無意識の偏見）、ステレオタイプ、また性別・民族・性的指向・文化・宗教の違いへの不当な表現を探すことができます。
文章を書くときによりインクルーシブであるいくつかの方法があります。その事もお話いたします。結果的に、インクルーシブであることが教育・経済、ひいてはサイエンスの研究にも大きな影響を与えると考えます。
